Season for Nonviolence: Day 59

Day 59: March 29

The thought for today is INTERVENTION.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons and daughters of God. – Jesus

To be a peacemaker is to demonstrate Who and Whose You Are – Children of the Source of Peace. It takes being grounded in the Presence to be able to see inside conflict and find a way out that is in the best interests of all parties involved. To mediate between adversaries requires the courage and integrity to walk in Truth; an ability to intently listen, to understand, and to be compassionate; it takes great patience and respect.

So much gets destroyed through conflict – people, relationships, resources – that it is imperative that we as Sons and Daughters of Peace intervene and stand in the gap to defuse the underlying animosity before it gets out of control. We who are Conscious Creators are here to envision, create, and build a world that works for everyone. This is our place. This is our time.

Be a peacemaker.

Be Peace.

Consider taking some classes in nonviolent communication, peacemaking, or conflict resolution. Many universities now offer degrees in Peace Studies. Mostly, I urge you to stay centered in the Presence every day so that you can easily access the Divine Mind within for guidance and solutions when conflict arises.

breathe Peace ~

About Rev. Rebecca

After 30 years of trying to avoid God, I finally gave up playing Jonah and answered Love's call to service by becoming an ordained New Thought minister. Since that day in 2007, I've counseled a lot of people, performed some weddings, been a publiic speaker, and done some non-profit board work. Opportunities for service are presenting themselves in new ways for the coming year and I look forward to more of Love unfolding in my life.
