I Create Peace

I create peace when I humbly exercise my intelligence to the advantage of my fellow man.

I create peace when I honor other’s opinions which may differ from my own.

I create peace when I show regard for the rights and properties of others.

I create peace when I show respect for what another has honestly acquired.

I create peace when I help and encourage others to pursue their opportunities for growth and advancement.

I create peace when I realize that all are my brothers and sisters; that we are all God’s beloved children; and that God’s family is as diverse and limitless in its expression as the Mind of God.

I create peace when I realize that I am a visitor here and that I am charged with being a good steward of the natural resources of this planet and that the earth belongs to God for the good of all.

I create peace when I allow other people the right to think and be who they are.

I create peace when I realize that success in life is not dependent upon power, fame, and riches, but on how well I have Loved.

I create peace when I respect logic and reason and allow ideas to stand or fall on their own merits rather than by force.

I create peace when I understand that the God I conceive is mine and that others may experience God in their own ways.

I create peace when I believe that all have the right to work and seek opportunity, even if it takes them beyond the land of their birth.

Based on the Rosicrucian Order Creed of Peace, originally written by Ralph M. Lewis in 1944 and titled ” I Am Guilty of War.” I took the ideas presented in the creed and rewrote them in a positive sense as “I Create Peace.”

About Rev. Rebecca

After 30 years of trying to avoid God, I finally gave up playing Jonah and answered Love's call to service by becoming an ordained New Thought minister. Since that day in 2007, I've counseled a lot of people, performed some weddings, been a publiic speaker, and done some non-profit board work. Opportunities for service are presenting themselves in new ways for the coming year and I look forward to more of Love unfolding in my life.
