The Gandhi - King - Chavez
Season for Peace and Nonviolence
JANUARY 30 - APRIL 4
The Season for Nonviolence is a 64-day consciousness-raising exercise designed to create an awareness of the healing and transformative power of Peace. It commences on the memorial anniversary of Mohandas Gandhi and concludes on the memorial anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The communal vision of those who participate is of a world that works for everyone. We are committed to creating communities where all are valued and the inherent dignity of each person is recognized and honored. This is acomplished by following the philosophy of nonviolent action demonstrated by Mohandas Gandhi, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Cesar Chavez.
Follow the daily meditations and exercises on my blog at www.revrebecca.com/wordpress/.

The work to achieve Peace never truly ends. It keeps on flowing ever onward. May you continue the process of creating change in yourself in order to bring about a nonviolent, Peaceful, and sustainable world for all.
