2011 Projects

The 2011 Season for Humane Service projects focus on the issues of hunger and homelessness in America. Check out the videos below and follow the links to discover ways that you can offer service to those in need of a helping hand. Be Love.
  • Hunger in Your Community
One in six Americans go hungry - many of them children. Hunger is not just a third world problem. Take this online quiz to learn more about hunger. Search for local food pantries. Find emergency food programs here.
  • Homelessness in Your Community
Over 600.000 Americans have no place to call home tonight. Seven of ten Americans are one paycheck away from joining them. 18% of them are chronically homeless. The other 82% are people who are going through a tough time. One out of 50 are children. For a list of ways to help, visit http://www.nationalhomeless.org/want_to_help/index.html#r.
